Would you like to join our team and volunteer for The Breastfeeding Network Southampton?
The course will run weekly on Wednesdays from 18th September – 11th December with a mix of online and in person sessions in Southampton. The in-person sessions are due to take place in SO15-SO16. These will be on 18th September; 13th and 20th November; 4th and 11th December. All other sessions will be online. There will be no session during the October half-term school holiday.
On successful completion of the course, you will gain a level 2 Open College Network qualification & become a registered Breastfeeding Network Volunteer.
There is no cost to trainees to attend this course.
There are no qualifications needed to apply, you just need to have experience of breastfeeding/ chestfeeding your baby/babies – this can include pumping.
Children up to the age of 5 may join you if required, in-person and online.
In return we ask you to regularly volunteer on the maternity wards at Princess Anne Hospital or within the community of Southampton City (SO14-SO19).
