Course Title: Helpers (Sandwell)

Number of places available: 12

Course start date: 13/09/24 (intro call) and 20/09/2024 (Session 1)

Course end date: end December 2024

Day and time of sessions: Fridays 10am – 12pm:

  • Intro call – Zoom – Friday 13th Sept 2024
  • Week 1 – Zoom – Friday 20th Sept 2024
  • Week 2 – Zoom – Friday 4th Oct 2024
  • Week 3 – Zoom – Friday 18th Oct 2024
  • Week 4 – (Face-to-face) – Friday 8th Nov 2024
  • Week 5 – Zoom – Friday 22nd Nov 2024
  • Week 6 – Zoom – Friday 6th Dec 2024
  • Week 7 – (Face-to-face) – Friday 13th Dec 2024

There will be online work to complete and group discussion to take part in on the training website in between sessions. Babes in arms are welcome to attend the in person sessions.

Assignments to be completed by: End December 2024

Course venue: Online sessions – Zoom, with two face to face sessions in Sandwell area (see dates above)

Closing date for applications: 27/08/2024

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Group interview via Zoom, 10am – 11.30am, Friday 6th September 2024

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
Volunteers must be able to volunteer regularly in Sandwell. Minimum 1-year commitment following training course.
