Course Title: Helpers (Stoke on Trent)

Course start date: 18/01/2024

Course end date: 28/03/2024

Day and time of sessions: Thursdays 7-9pm

  • Thursday 18th Jan 7-9pm
  • Thursday 25th Jan 7-9pm
  • Thursday Feb 8th 7-9pm
  • Thursday Feb 15th Time TBC but this will be daytime, Face to Face at a Stoke on Trent Children’s Centre
  • Thursday Feb 22nd  7-9pm
  • Thursday March 7th 7-9pm
  • Thursday March 14th 7-9pm
  • Thursday March 28th 7-9pm

Assignments to be completed by: 05/04/2024

Course venue: All sessions online (via Zoom) except for Thurs 15th Feb, which will be held in Stoke on Trent (venue tbc – trainees can bring their baby/ies if needed)

Closing date for applications: 28/11/2023

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Thursday 7th December 2023 7-9pm

DBS required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
Volunteers must be able to volunteer regularly in Stoke on Trent for a minimum of 1-year commitment following completion of the training course.

Please indicate in your application which area(s) of Stoke you are planning to volunteer in:

  • Treehouse Family Hub,ST2 0HP Mondays 12.30-2pm
  • Tunstall Family Hub, ST6 6AP, Wednesdays 12.30-2pm
  • Westfield Family Hub, ST3 4RF, Fridays 10-11.30am Thomas Boughey Children’s Centre, ST4 2DQ, date and time TBC
