Session 2: 23/09/2026 (Zoom call)

Session 3: 30/09/2026 (Moodle)

Session 4: 07/10/2026 (Zoom call)

Session 5: 14/10/2026 (Zoom call)

Session 6: 21/10/26 (Moodle)

(break for half term)

Session 7: 04/11/26 (Zoom call)

Session 8: 11/11/26 (Zoom call)

Session 9: 18/11/26 (Moodle)

Session 10: 25/11/26 (Zoom call)

Session 11: 02/12/26 (Zoom call)

Assignments to be completed by: 9th December 2026

Course venue: Online via Zoom

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 28th July

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Group Interview Online: Wednesday 26th August (may be possible back up dates if needed)

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information: Volunteering to include supporting at one or more of the following sessions:

Mondays:
3rd Monday of the month: Sun Street centre (East and North Family Hub), alongside well-baby clinic. (Volunteers are unable to bring along their own children to this session)

Tuesdays:
1st and 3rd Tuesdays: Whitley children’s centre (South Reading Family Hub), alongside baby group. (Volunteers an bring own babies with them, aged up to 1 year)

Wednesdays:
2nd Wednesday of the month: Caversham children’s centre (East and North Family Hub), alongside well-baby clinic. (Volunteers are unable to bring along their own children to this session)

Thursdays:
Every Thursday: Southcote community hub (Southcote Family Hub), alongside Messy Play. (Volunteers can bring their own children, up to 5 years of age)

Fridays:
1st and 3rd Fridays: Sun Street (East and North Family Hub), alongside baby dimensions. (Volunteers can bring their own babies, aged up to 1 year)
