Course information:
We are looking for pharmacists who have lived experience of breastfeeding to volunteer for our Drugs In Breastmilk Information Service.

Our service is delivered by pharmacists who are all trained as breastfeeding peer supporters and answer questions via email and social media on medication and breastfeeding compatibility.

You’ll be joining a committed and supportive team working to provide this unique and essential service for families.

Please note, the training course is in Breastfeeding Peer Support. You will then be inducted into the Drugs in Breastmilk service.

The role itself is remote, as is the recruitment process. If you need any adjustments or assistance, please let us know via email.

We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic volunteers, LGBTQ+ volunteers, volunteers with disabilities and volunteers living in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland as we would like to increase the representation of these groups at BfN.  We strive for our workforce and volunteers to be representative of the communities that we serve and we know that greater diversity will lead to even greater results for breastfeeding mothers.

If the course is over-subscribed, priority may be given to applicants from under-represented groups. If you feel this applies to you, please include detail in your application form.

How to apply:
If you are interested in being considered for this role please complete the online application form found at the link below.
