Helper2025/05 Derbyshire

Course Title: Helpers (Derbyshire)

Prerequisites: The “Group Host” course is a prerequisite for the Helper course. The Group Host course is split into two parts as follows:

  • This is an online course that you work through at your own pace, completing quizzes as you go. We expect the online part to take up to 3 hours.
  • We will ask you to attend at least one face-to-face session at a local group of your choice to shadow the volunteers there. To enrol for the Group Host course, please email derbyshire@breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk

Assignments to be completed by: 18/12/2024

Course venue: Ten sessions on Zoom and two sessions in Matlock. Venue TBC. Trainees are welcome to bring their children to training sessions. No childcare is available.

Closing date for applications: 25/06/2024

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Wednesday, 10th July at 10am.

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)
