Course Title: Helpers (Dorset)

Number of places available: 12

Course start date: 02/05/2024

Course end date: 25/07/2024

Day and time of sessions: Thursdays 12pm-2pm

Assignments to be completed by: 25/07/2024

Course venue: Online via Zoom. One in person session on Thursday 11th July from 11am-2:30pm (central venue TBC).

Closing date for applications: 16/04/2024 (extended from 09/04/2024)

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Online via Teams, 12pm 18th April (please apply only if you will be available at this time as there will be short notice between the new closing date and the date of interview – thank you).

DBS required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
Would you like to join our team and volunteer for The Breastfeeding Network Dorset?

We are looking for people to train and volunteer in the following areas:

  • Bridport
  • Dorchester
  • Sherborne
  • Swanage
  • Wareham
  • Weymouth

The course will run online on Thursdays 12-2pm from 2nd May-25th July, with an integrated shadowing week during the week commencing 17th June, and an in person session on Thursday 11th July from 11am-2:30pm (central venue TBC).

On successful completion of the course you will gain a level 2 Open College Network qualification & become a registered Breastfeeding Network Volunteer.

The course is free.

Children up to the age of 4 may join you if required.
