Course Title: Helpers (Glasgow City)

Day and time of sessions: To be confirmed. Sessions may be daytime (in school hours) or evenings.
Duration: 2 hours per week over 14 weeks with a mix of group sessions using Zoom and/or Teams and individual work on our online BfN training site. There is likely to be some time off over the summer holidays depending on the needs of the trainees and the tutor.

Course venue: Online using Zoom and/or Teams and the BfN training site.

PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)
Course information: We are looking to train new peer support volunteers in the Glasgow City area. Once training is completed volunteers will be able to support mums and parents at face to face groups. There will also be opportunities to offer 1:1 support to local mums via the phone and to volunteer on the hospital wards. Priority for places on the course will be given to women who live in South Glasgow, North East Glasgow and North West Glasgow, women from Black and minority ethnic communities and younger mums (under 25).
