Thursdays 10am-12pm, breaks for school holidays

Session 4: 19th June
Session 5: 26th June
Session 6: 3rd July
Session 7: 10th July
Session 8: 17th July
(Summer holidays: opportunities for shadowing at local groups)
Session 9: 4th Sept
Session 10: 11th Sept
Session 11: 18th Sept
Session 12: 25th Sept   

Assignments to be completed by: Thursday 2nd October 2025

Course venue: Online via Zoom

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 22nd April 2025

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Thursday 8th May 2025

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:

Volunteers must be able to volunteer regularly (monthly) in the Wokingham borough area. Minimum 1-year commitment following training course.

This course is jointly funded with half the places (6) allocated to each funding stream.

6 places are intended for those who have moved to the UK with a particular focus on those from Afghanistan, Ukraine and Hong Kong (BNO) and priority will therefore be given to those who meet these criteria.

The other 6 places are open to any individual who could volunteer within the Wokingham borough.

Volunteering to include supporting at one of the Health Visitor run well-baby clinics in the Wokingham borough.
