Course Reference: Helper2023/09 (Tuesday course)

Course Title: Helpers 

Number of places available: Estimated 7 places remaining (for the course running on Tuesdays)

Course start date: 27th September 2022

Course end date: January 2023

Day and time of sessions: Tuesdays 10am – 12pm

Duration: Course 1 will be run on Zoom over 13 weeks, 2 hours per week, with some work to be completed online using the BfN training site.

Assignments to be completed by: End of January 2023

Course venue: Zoom

Closing date for applications: Extended to 13/09/2022

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Date to be confirmed; will be by Zoom

DBS required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
Please state which area you are able to volunteer at.

Geographical priority areas: Somerford (Christchurch), Blandford, Wareham, Bridport and Weymouth. But we are also looking to train volunteers from across Dorset to support current active groups at Old Town, Kinson and West Howe, Sherborne and Dorchester and set-up peer support in new areas.

As these places relate to the course that will run on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm(noon), please confirm your availability for this on the application form in the space provided.

No childcare is available for training and volunteering – but children welcome to attend groups.
