PEER SUPPORT SERVICE

South and East Hampshire

The Breastfeeding Network South and East Hampshire covering Gosport, Fareham, Havant, East Hampshire and surrounding areas.

Pregnant, combination feeding, expressing, exclusively breastfeeding, going back to work, feeding an older child or looking to stop – we are here to support you every step of your breastfeeding journey.

All our support is offered free of charge and we have both virtual and face-to-face options available.

Some of our groups run during term-time only, these dates can be checked at https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/schoolholidays. Any last minute changes to the groups are posted on our Facebook page

Type of services available

  • Groups – See the interactive map.
  • Online support – If you would like to have some 1:1 support via Zoom from a trained Breastfeeding Network peer support volunteer please email Bfnsouthcoast@breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk with the first part of your postcode and a brief outline of you questions or concerns.  One of the team will be in contact within 48 hours (please check your spam mail folder).
  • Antenatal breastfeeding workshop via Zoom – Every 2nd Tuesday of the month 10-11.30am – email Bfnsouthcoast@breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk to book.  You will be sent the link to join the Zoom call please check your spam folder if this does not arrive.
