PEER SUPPORT SERVICE

Greenwich

The Breastfeeding Network has been commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich council to provide free, non-judgemental, evidence-based baby feeding support to all Greenwich families.

Our team of peer supporters and volunteers are here to support you throughout your feeding journey. Whether you are pregnant, combination feeding, expressing, exclusively breastfeeding or chestfeeding. Whether your child is a newborn or a toddler or an older child – whatever your situation we are here for you, and everyone is welcome.

  • We have a team of friendly and experienced Paid Peer Supporters who offer support on the postnatal ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
  • We can also offer home visits to new parents and babies who may find it hard to get to a group, in the early days.
  • Our volunteers can be found in groups in the community across Greenwich, giving support with infant feeding.

We are always looking for more local parents who are passionate about, and have lived experience in breastfeeding to join our accredited training courses to become BfN volunteers. If you are interested, please do pop us an email to the email address below and we will be in touch!
