Job Title:  Tutor/Supervisor (Southwark

Salary:  £15.91 per hour plus £2.39 RUHP

Number of posts: 1/2 (hours can be shared between post holders)

Type of contract: Fixed term annualised

Start date:  March 2024

Hours of work: 94 (annualised)

Work location: A combination of virtual (from home) and face to face tutor sessions at a Southwark children’s centre. Supervision online.

Responsible to: Service Manager

Closing Date: 30/01/2024

Proposed interview date: TBC

Job information: BfN Tutor to deliver Helper Course & provide supervision for newly qualified Helpers upon completion of the course, in Southwark, South London. We’d love to deliver this in person at a Southwark Children’s Centre, but will consider remote applications, we are open to have two Tutors one who would deliver a few face to face sessions and a second to deliver the rest of the training online. Supervision can be either remote or in person, depending on the applicant’s availability and location at one of the Southwark’s Children’s Centres. The Tutor is required to provide a regular supportive space for Helper trainee volunteers to thrive and connect during the course, offer guidance, encourage active volunteering and support their transition into the established local supervision group.
