INTERNAL BfN2023/17 Tutor (Derbyshire Helpers) x 2 – closing date 07/06/2022

Job Title:  Tutor (Derbyshire Helpers)

Salary:  £15.15 per hour plus rolled up holiday pay £2.27 per hour

Number of posts: 2 (hours may be shared between multiple post-holders)

Type of contract: Fixed term annualised to December 2022

Start date: September 2022

Hours of work: 70 hours per course (140 hours total) – dates and times for sessions to be agreed between Tutor and Volunteer Coordinator

Work location: Home with good internet access for prep and video sessions.  Depending on the Tutor appointed we would like to be able to offer some face-to-face practical sessions in a Derbyshire venue but this is not an essential requirement.

Responsible to: Volunteer Coordinator 

Closing Date: 07/06/2022

Proposed interview date: week beginning 13/06/2022 via Teams

Job information: 
We are looking to run two Helper courses for Derbyshire, both starting in September but on different days of the week.  The course will mainly be taught online/via video call but we are keen to have some practical sessions at local venues to prepare new volunteers for supporting at indoor face-to-face groups if possible – this is not essential though.
