Isle of Wight

The Breastfeeding Network is now providing peer support on the Isle of Wight.

Pregnant, combination feeding, expressing, exclusively breastfeeding/chestfeeding, going back to work, feeding an older child or looking to stop – we are here to support you every step of your breastfeeding journey.

All our support is offered free of charge and we have both virtual and face-to-face options available.

Face-to-face support groups

  • Thursday 12.45-1.30pm – term time only – alongside Barnados baby group Ryde Family Centre, George Street, Ryde, PO22 2JF. No booking required.

  • Monday 9.30-11am – term time only – alongside West Wight Nursery baby group – West Wight Family Centre, Moa Place, Freshwater, PO40 9XH. No booking required.

We ask that you do not attend a face-to-face group if you or someone in your household has Covid-19. Although this is stricter than current government guidance our aim is to keep our volunteers and other families attending the groups as safe as possible.  We would encourage anyone attending to wear a mask and maintain social distancing where possible.
