Course information:
We have received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to train a cohort of volunteers to provide infant feeding peer support within Cardiff and Vale. The course is open to individuals with lived experience of breastfeeding.
We are keen to hear from women who can speak Welsh, or another language, in addition to English, young mums, and women from Black and ethnic minority groups.
Please read the ‘Helper’ volunteer role description to get an understanding of the role.
Rydyn ni wedi derbyn cyllid gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol i hyfforddi carfan o wirfoddolwyr i ddarparu cymorth gan gymheiriaid bwydo babanod yng Nghaerdydd a’r Fro. Mae’r cwrs yn agored i unigolion sydd â phrofiad byw o fwydo ar y fron.
Rydyn ni’n awyddus i glywed gan fenywod sy’n gallu siarad Cymraeg, neu iaith arall, yn ogystal â Saesneg, mamau ifanc, a menywod o grwpiau Du ac ethnig leiafrifol. Darllenwch y disgrifiad rôl gwirfoddolwr ‘Cynorthwyydd’ i gael dealltwriaeth o’r rôl.
Following completion of the training and registration with the Breastfeeding Network, volunteers will be expected to commit to regular volunteering for a period of at least one year.

Ar ôl cwblhau’r hyfforddiant a chofrestru gyda’r Rhwydwaith Bwydo ar y Fron, bydd disgwyl i wirfoddolwyr ymrwymo i wirfoddoli’n rheolaidd am gyfnod o o leiaf flwyddyn.
