Course information: This course is designed for anyone who would love to volunteer their time to support parents with Infant Feeding. You don’t need any prior training or specialist knowledge, just your personal experience of breastfeeding or expressing milk (there’s no minimum length of time required). If you’re passionate about listening, encouraging, and being a reassuring presence for new parents, this course will give you the confidence and skills to offer that support in a meaningful.
Priority will be given to Southwark residents. After successful completion of the training, trainees will be volunteering at our local Infant Feeding support drop in groups that are spread across Southwark. Applicants should be able to commit to regular volunteering for a period of at least 6 months.
