Course Type: Module 1 Supporters course (Helpline) – please only apply if you already hold or are working towards finishing a helper qualification with BfN

Course end date: 24th November 2026

Duration: 8 weeks plus 1 introductory session

Assignments to be completed by: 1st December 2026

Course venue: Online

Proposed interview date (if applicable): WB 22nd June 2026

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information: We are delighted to be recruiting for our Helpline Supporter Course. This is suitable for people who have a Helper qualification with the Breastfeeding Network and who wish to provide breastfeeding peer support on the National Breastfeeding Helpline.
The course is delivered remotely as will be the recruitment process.
We are keen to receive applications from candidates from groups under- represented on the helpline.
We are also looking for people who are able to make a commitment to regular volunteering on the helpline.
