Job Title:  Tutor Training Course

Course End Date: Around w/c 10th November 2026

Expected Deadline for all assignments: 30th November

Number of Sessions: 15 (14 online with one full in person day at a central location, date tbc)

Day/Time of Sessions: TBC based on trainee availability (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings

Work location: Online and one full in person day at a central location (location tbc)

Closing Date: 13/01/2026

Proposed interview date: Tuesday 3rd February 2026, Online

Specific Pre-Requisites: Must have BfN Supervisor Qualification

DBS/PVG required: Yes

Job information: This course is open to all qualified BfN Supervisors. Upon completion of the course, the expectation is that trainees will then go on to take on paid BfN tutoring work. The course is made up of 15 sessions and assignments and will run over 9 months. There will be taught online sessions every other week, with longer breaks taken during school holiday periods. One of the sessions will be a full in person day at a central location (date and location tbc). Although we welcome applications from all areas, priority will be given to those from the following:

Birmingham 389, Derbyshire 370, Greenwich 378, Haringey 374, Islington 450, Lewisham 381, London TBC, Portsmouth 376, Sandwell 431, Scotland 338, Stoke 521, Telford 355.
