Course venue: online via TEAMS or ZOOM apart from one Face to Face session – Venue TBC

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Friday 8th August 10-12

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
We are training a cohort of Breastfeeding Network peer support volunteers to support families across Birmingham, at community venues, Children’s Centres and on hospital maternity wards.  

We are keen to ensure the volunteers represent the local population so encourage applications from people who speak other languages – please include detail in your application if this applies to you.  Following completion of the training and registration with the Breastfeeding Network, volunteers will be expected to commit to regular volunteering for a period of at least one year. 

Priority will be given to Birmingham residents.
