Job Title: Peer Supporter (Islington)

Salary: £13.49 per hour

Number of Posts: Multiple

Type of Contract: Fixed Term until to 31st March 2025. (With contract renewal for a further 2 years for the Islington Project

Start Date: 1st November 2024 or when candidate can start

Hours of Work: 17 per week ( Hours can be split if multiple applicants)

Working Pattern: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Work Location: Various locations across the borough of Islington, occasionally at UCLH or Whittington hospital.

Responsible to: Service Manager

Closing Date: 22/10/2024

Proposed Interview Date: Bingfield Health Centre, N1, 30th October 2024

Job Information: The Breastfeeding Network has been commissioned since 2007 by the London Borough of Islington, currently as part of its Bright Start offer. Delivering comprehensive breastfeeding peer Support service at UCLH and Whittington Hospitals and in the Community and at drop ins, clinics, home visits online and phone support. We are currently recruiting Peer Supporter(s) (Baby Feeding Specialists). Please check job spec for more information.
