Job Title: Outreach Development Officer (Wales)

Salary: £13.19 per hour

Number of Posts: 1

Type of Contract: Fixed Term until 31/03/2025

Start Date: October 2024

Hours of Work: 12 per week

Working Pattern: Working hours flexible across at least 2 days of the week to allow for attendance at relevant meetings, activities and events across Aneurin Bevan & Cwm Taf. To be agreed by staff member and their Line Manager

Work Location: Home with good internet access

Responsible to: Programme Manager

Job Information: This is a flexible, part time, home based role, working closely with the National Breastfeeding Helpline and the Breastfeeding Network Programme team, who are also all home based. The role is varied, and involves developing relationships, supporting engagement with BfN activity and promoting the helpline and related services throughout target areas concentrated in Aneurin Bevan & Cwm Taf Health Boards in Wales. An important aspect of the role will be to raise awareness of the support services available. We are looking for someone who has a track record of working independently and using their initiative to make contacts and build relationships. Please note this role is dependent upon the outcome of a collaborative grant application.
