Job Information: The Volunteer Coordinator (VC) will oversee, engage and motivate volunteer peer supporters at the breastfeeding support groups in Dorset and online at virtual groups/social media platforms. They will work closely with the Service Manager, playing an integral role in the general day to day workings of the volunteer work schedules and data collection. Duties of the role will primarily include responsibility for ensuring that volunteers are appropriately trained, developed and supervised to enable them to provide quality breastfeeding support to local families alongside the commissioned peer support service and administrative duties to assist with the smooth running of the peer support service. The working hours can be flexible to support both volunteer and service needs but will ideally include a Tuesday and a Thursday.
