Helper2024/36 Forth Valley

Course Title: Helpers (Forth Valley)

Number of places available: 12

Course start date: 7th or 8th March 2024 (to be agreed)

Course end date: April 2024

Day and time of sessions: 10am-2pm on either Thursdays or Fridays (to be decided)

Assignments to be completed by: 12/04/2024

Course venue: Fire Station Westfield, Westquarter, FK2 9AH

Closing date for applications: 20/02/2024 (extended from 06/02/2024)

Proposed interview date (if applicable): 29/02/2024 at 10:00am online using Zoom (babies and young children are welcome to be present)

PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information:
Applications from those under age 24 preferred but all applications will be considered.

This training will train volunteers to volunteer in local groups and on the wards at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Our groups are currently located in Grangemouth, Camelon, Falkirk, Alloa, Tullibody, Raploch and St Ninians. We also plan to open a new group in Denny. We will prioritise those aged 24 and under and those who live in areas where we currently have groups, as detailed in the application form.
