Job information: We are planning to deliver a Helper training course specifically for women from Black and Asian backgrounds – to increase representation of volunteers across the Haringey Breastfeeding Peer Support Service. This is part of our Family Hub Partnership work to increase diversity and better represent the families we support, our workforce and volunteers. We are looking for a registered BfN Tutor/s to deliver this course who have had training in Diversity and Inclusion – who is passionate about increasing diversity and supporting inclusion across BfN. BfN would look to recruit a BfN Peer Supporter who identifies as Asian or Black to work alongside a tutor (as a course facilitator) to support course delivery. After the course, Supervision sessions would be held once a month to allow the new helpers time and space to reflect and continue their learning as a group. The virtual/online course will start in May 2024 with supervision sessions starting October/November 2024. Time and day for sessions to be decided between Tutor and the Programme Manager.
