Helper2023/13 Midlothian – closing date 09/08/2022

Course Reference: Helper2023/13

Course Title: Midlothian Helpers

Number of places available: 12

Course start date: Week beginning 05/9/2022 

Course end date: Week beginning 16/01/2023

Day and time of sessions: Course will run on either Tuesday or Thursday evening or Friday morning.

Duration: 8x2hour Zoom sessions (1 introduction and 7 training sessions) plus work on the BfN training site in between, averaging 2-3 hours each fortnight.

Assignments to be completed by: 30/01/2022 

Course venue: The course will be delivered via Zoom and the BfN training site with the possibility of there being 2 or 3 sessions run face to face depending on tutor and trainee preferences

Closing date for applications: 09/08/2022

Proposed interview date (if applicable): Week beginning  15/08/2022

PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)

Course information: 
Volunteering will be attending and running face to face support groups in the area.  Priority will be given to those who live in Midlothian and also looking at a spread across the area to support existing group locations.  Please detail your suitability within your application for this to assist shortlisting of applications.
