24 Hours Support on The National Breastfeeding Helpline

We’re thrilled to announce that, following the success of our pilot project, the National Breastfeeding Helpline (NBH) continues to be available 24 hours a day! We have enhanced our overnight service to include social media support during the night, ensuring that new parents have access to the support they need, whenever they need it.

A Lifeline for New Parents

Our commitment to around-the-clock support stems from the invaluable feedback we received from callers. Many parents, especially those adjusting to the demands of a newborn, have expressed how crucial it is to access help at times that suit them best.

One caller shared, “ I was very stressed and worried at the time of contacting. It was super helpful to have that support available immediately and not have to wait until the morning.”

Empowering Breastfeeding Journeys

Our evaluation highlights the significant impact that the National Breastfeeding Helpline has on individuals’ breastfeeding journeys.

A participant noted, “I recommend the NBH to anyone looking for support around breastfeeding… I honestly don’t think I would have continued breastfeeding as long as I have without their support.”
