The Supporterline system will automatically connect you to a BfN Registered Breastfeeding Supporter .

The service operates from 9.30am to 9.30pm every day of the year*. Calls to 0300 numbers cost no more than calls to UK numbers starting 01 and 02 and will be part of any inclusive minutes that apply to your provider and call package.

If no-one can take your call, a message will tell you so. If the first Supporter is unable to take your call, you will be automatically transferred to a second Supporter (this may take a little longer to connect). Please remember your Supporter is a mum too and may have other commitments. She will try her best to answer your call as soon as she can.

Breastfeeding Network Supporters are volunteers who have done extensive training, and are also mothers who have breastfed their babies. They are able to provide a unique service that is complementary to that of health visitors, midwives and other health professionals. Breastfeeding Supporters are available at the end of the phone to give information and support to mothers who have challenges with breastfeeding, and will visit new mothers at home where possible.
