Hours of work:
10 hours per week spread over Monday and Wednesday, ideally with 5 hour days including a drop in and hospital shift each day. Exact shifts can be discussed and may be flexible, with potential to appoint more than one applicant and split hours.
Welbourne and Rowland Hill Children’s Centres and North Middlesex Hospital. With occasional cover at Whittington Hospital and other Haringey Community/Children’s Centres.

The Breastfeeding Network (BfN) has been commissioned by Haringey council to provide the Haringey infant feeding peer support service offering mother-to-mother infant feeding support in local hospitals and in the community.
Working closely with local stakeholders, peer supporters provide a universal peer support service supporting pregnant women and mothers across the borough.
The newly appointed peer supporter in Haringey will be working flexibly for the BfN to deliver a consistent infant feeding peer support service to women and families living in Haringey.
Peer supporters provide face to face support via infant feeding groups and in the Whittington and North Middlesex hospitals throughout the week.
Peer supporter must have completed the BfN or equivalent Helper course.
