BfN Celebrates 10 years abiding by the WHO/ UNICEF Code & Resolutions

In 2007 The Breastfeeding Network had a great reason to celebrate - our tenth birthday and also 10 years of providing independent breastfeeding support and information.

In what way is the BfN independent?

We do not accept funding, sponsorship and/or gifts from sources which have a commercial interest in infant feeding (breast or formula). For example, we will not accept sponsorship from manufacturers or distributors of breastmilk substitutes, feeding bottles, teats or dummies. We also do not accept sponsorship from those companies who profit from breastfeeding such as breast-pumps, nipple creams, nursing bras, nursing pillows etc.
